Description
GOA BASS is a rolling bassline synth built for goa and psytrance, and the companion to GOA KICK. Its built-in 16-step sequencer plays the classic off-beat roll in time with Live, and Kick Sync ducks the bass on every beat so it sits around your kick without any sidechain routing.

Features
- Step mode — 16-step sequencer synced to Live’s tempo, 4 or 3 steps per beat, pattern length 1–4 beats
- Ratchet x2 — turn any step into a 32nd-note roll
- Pitch per step — -12 to +12 semitones on every step
- Rate / Fill — double-time playback, plus automatic rolls every 4 or 8 bars
- Swing / Nudge / Shift — shuffle the off-steps, push the pattern ±30 ms, rotate it step by step
- MIDI mode — play it like a normal synth
- Step + MIDI — in Step mode, held MIDI notes set the root while the pattern keeps the rhythm
- TO CLIP — write the current pattern into a MIDI clip, ready to edit in the piano roll
- Root / Tune — set the bass to your track’s key
- Detune / Wave — two detuned oscillators, blend from saw to square
- Sub — sine sub at the same pitch for solid low end
- Cutoff / Reso / F.Env / F.Dec — 24 dB low-pass with a snappy filter envelope
- A.Dec / Attack / Release / Gate — note decay, attack and release shaping, plus a tempo-relative gate for tight, clipped rolls
- Drive — saturation for extra weight
- Accent — emphasises the first note of each beat for a moving groove
- Kick Sync (Duck / D.Time) — beat-synced ducking that leaves room for the kick
- Waveform scope and output level meter
- Themes — ORANGE or RAINBOW, matching GOA KICK
