Description
PING MAN is a ping synth. Instead of an oscillator, it strikes a resonant filter to create short, woody, bell-like and percussive sounds — perfect for plucks, percussion and bass.
Features
- Cutoff / Decay — pitch and length of each ping (1 ms – 2 s)
- Drive — dirty distortion with steady loudness
- Drift — analog-style variation in pitch and level
- Spread — stereo width that stays centred
- Vel>Tone — harder hits sound brighter
- P.Env / P.Time — pitch drop for kicks, toms and zaps
- Ratchet / Rate — repeats per hit (Rnd = random 1–8)
- Attack — soft swells, smooth even on fast notes
- Modes — BP / LP / HP
- KeyTrack — plays the pitch of your MIDI notes
Requirements
Ableton Live 11.3 or later / Live 12 with Max for Live (Suite, or Standard + Max for Live). Windows / macOS.
Tested with Live 12.4.6 and Max 9.1.5.
