Description
16CH SPECTRAL splits your audio into 16 fixed bands, from below 100 Hz to above 10 kHz, and lets you shape, sweep, split and vocode them. It is inspired by classic modular spectral processors. HOLD freezes any moment and stretches it smoothly, so drums, voices and noise can become pads and textures.
Features
- 16 bands — fader and level meter on every band, from <100 Hz to >10 kHz
- Mute / Solo — on every band, plus ALL M / ALL S
- Live meters — show only the bands you hear, following Mute, Solo, Scan and Freq / Width
- BANK mode — 16-band filter bank and graphic EQ
- ODD/EVEN mode — Odd-Even knob blends the odd and even bands
- VOCODE mode — built-in 16-band vocoder that works on a single track, with an internal SAW or NOISE carrier
- Decay / Shift / VocGain — vocoder response, formant shift of ±15 bands, and level
- Q — narrow or wide bands, with automatic loudness compensation
- Freq / Width — sweep a window across the bands
- Scan — 0 %: lowest band only, 50 %: all bands, 100 %: highest band only
- HOLD — capture the moment and stretch it smoothly, without changing pitch
- Stretch / Size / Position / Blend — stretch amount (1–32x), capture length (0.1–2 s), playback position, and how much live input stays under the hold
- Mix / Out — dry/wet and output level
Requirements
Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live (Suite, or Standard + Max for Live). Windows / macOS.
Tested with Live 12.x.x and Max 9.1.5.
